This is an unusual rendition of the famous Czech Christmas Mass by J.J. Ryba. The story of the play takes place in a nativity set with figures of Joseph and Mary with the infant, as well as the well-known figures of journeyman and master, the Three Kings, shepherd, pilgrims etc.. The direction of the piece tries to incorporate these texts from the famous mass into a story format, in a non-traditional way.

A stage performance of Kytice, a series of solo compositions, mixed and children's choirs, and a symphony orchestra for folk texts form this suggestive statement which touches upon the eternally valid values in human life.
