Eben Trio is one of the top ensembles in the Czech republic as well as abroad. The members of the ensemble are – a pianist Terezie Fialová, a violinist Roman Patočka and a cellist Jiří Bárta. The group bears its name from a significant Czech composer Petr Eben, who lived in the second half of the 20th century.

Eben Trio have numerous notable competition successes behind it (i.e. Masefield Prize Hamburg, Concours de musique du Lyceum Club International de Suisse Lausanne and many others) and it is a holder of The Czech Chamber Music Society Award 2012, which is given to the best chamber ensembles.

The trio performs at the festivals and important stages such as Prague Spring, International Music Festival Český Krumlov, Mahler Jihlava, Music Festival, Festival Mitte Europa, Septembre Musical in Vevey, Munich Gasteig, Auditorium du Louvre in Paris, Prague Rudolfinum or at Kennedy Centre in Washington. The ensemble has worked under the leadership of top professors such as Niklas Schmidt, Joseph Kalichstein, Menahem Pressler or Gabor Takacz-Nagy.

In summer 2013, the trio took part in a prestigious Verbier Festival & Academy in Switzerland, as the very first Czech trio. The ensemble has played in most European countries and in the United States. It records for Czech, German and French radio.
