Camerata is one of the leading artistic and producing agencies in the Czech Republic which has been operating since year 1992.

Jana Šrejma Kačírková was born in České Budějovice. She graduated from the Prague Conservatory in 2006.

During her studies she has received several awards at the Antonín Dvořák International Vocal Competition in Karlovy Vary. Her performance received the award of the National Moravian-Silesian Theater in Ostrava, which was a guest appearance in the role of Fiordiligi in Cosí fan tutte (W. A. Mozart) and also the Opera Mozart award – a guest appearance in the role of Zerlina in the summer production of Mozart’s Don Giovanni in the Estates Theater in Prague.

She has been a regular guest at the National Moravian-Silesian Theater in Ostrava since 2006, where she studied the roles of Fiordiligi – Cosí fan tutte, Queen of the Night – The Magic Flute, Susanna – The Marriage of Figaro, Donna Anna – Don Giovanni (W. A. Mozart), Zerbinetta – Ariadne auf Naxos (R. Strauss), Mara – La Lupa (M. Tutino), Nedda – Pagliacci (R. Leoncavallo), Marguerite – Faust (C. Gounod), Lisette – La Rondine (G. Puccini) and Jitka – Dalibor (B. Smetana).

In October 2010 she sang Donna Anna in Don Giovanni (W.A. Mozart) in the Southern Bohemia Theater in České Budějovice. She also studied the role of Amina from La Sonnambula (V. Bellini) and is appearing in the role as a guest for the F.X. Šalda Theater.

She has been a regular member of the National Moravian-Silesian Theater since 2010, where as part of her regular engagement she performs as: Eurydice – Orpheus in the Underworld (J. Offenbach), Karolka – Jenůfa (L. Janáček) and Nanetta – Falstaff (G. Verdi).

She made her debut at the National Theater in Prague in 2010 as Adina from The Elixir of Love (G. Donizzeti). Since then she has been appearing at the National Theater in Prague in the role of Konstanze – Il Seraglio, Susanna – The Marriage of Figaro, Queen of the Night – The Magic Flute (W. A. Mozart) and Olympia – The Tales of Hoffmann (J. Offenbach).

She will be studying and appearing as a guest in the 2011 / 2012 season in the role of Terinka – The Jacobin (A. Dvořák) in the National Theater in Prague, and studying and appearing in the National Moravian-Silesian Theater as Juliet – Romeo and Juliet (C. Gounod), Anne – The Rake’s Progress (I. Stravinsky) and Violetta – La Traviata (G. Verdi). She will also be singing Violetta – La Traviata in the 2011 / 2012 season in the F. X. Šalda Theater in Liberec.

She appeared in the summer festival in Ercolano, Italy as Elisetta – The Secret Marriage (D. Cimarosa), in Lecco in the Teatro Politeama Greco as Lauretta in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi and at the Pafos Afrodite Festival Cyprus as Olympia in the production of The Tales of Hoffmann. She was a guest at the Prague Spring and Smetana’s Litomyšl international music festivals. At this year’s IMF Český Krumlov she will appear in the role of Donna Anna in the production of Don Giovanni and Nedda in Pagliacci, where she will be performing along with José Cura.  

She performs under the baton of conductors O. Dohnanyi, M. Doubravský, F. Drs, P. Gatto, R. Hein, P. Chromčák, R. Jindra, T. Netopil, M. Peschík, A. Sangiorgi,  A. Scarano, V. Spurný, J. Šrubař, D. Švec and F. Zigante.

She participates in the productions of directors M. Corradi, L. Golat, O. Havelka, P. Kartalov, J. Lauwers, J. Menzel, P. Mikuláštík, C. Or, M. Otava, J. Průdek, L. Pugliese, I. Racek, D. Radok, S. Sandroni, R. Szymiková, L. Štros, A. Thorwald.

In 2008 her name was submitted for the long list of nominations for the Thalia Award for her interpretation of the role of Zerbinetta – Ariadne auf Naxos (R. Strauss).
